Let’s be real.

The word “organic” often has some sort of bougey high class connotation.

I ask for organic wine or organic produce and sometimes get that look, like “oh wow you’re fancy”.

Sometimes I want to jump to my defense, “an organic bottle of wine is often only $10 or less, and I know I am not consuming the 400,000 pounds of RoundUp and over 25 million pounds of pesticides (in California alone) used in wine production each year”.
